Under USAID funding and grant agreement with AEAI, WEG is currently conducting a “Preliminary Study for Feasibility Analysis of Shale gas exploration in Georgia”. The main goal of the project is to develop a preliminary estimate of the potential for shale gas exploration in Georgia, to draw preliminary conclusions based on existing geology information, develop recommendations for future actions in this direction and prepare the Terms of Reference for future feasibility study of shale gas production in Georgia.
