The project aimed to prepare the grounds for development of sound Energy Policy and Energy Strategy of Georgia. The concept paper based on the best world practices in developing energy policy and energy strategy was prepared and widely discussed with different stakeholders including the Ministries of Energy, Economy and Environment, parliament committee, CSOs and sector specialists.
Based on stakeholder consultations the guidelines for Energy Policy and Energy Strategy development were prepared and submitted to the Ministry of Energy.
