THERMOTECHNICAL PARAMETERS OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS AND THEIR RELATION TO GEORGIA’S ENERGY PROBLEMS
Giorgi Sadagashvili, Marika Sadagashvili, Research Design Institute “Tbilzniep”
The paper discusses how thermo-technical parameters of building shells, structures and materials used were changing over time in Georgia in relation to energy supply conditions. Energy efficiency potential is determined based on comparison with European construction norms and its importance for addressing Georgia’s energy supply problems is analyzed. The importance of solar energy for heating of thermally insulated buildings is assessed. (Georgian)
